Beginner Phonics ESL Lessons

 

Level 1 Unit 2 (Beginner Phonics ESL Lessons) gives your ESL student a basic understanding of the letter phonics sounds. They will study the short vowel sounds (a, o) and consonant sounds (b, m, t, p). Students will get an introduction to basic adjectives, animals, and shape vocabulary. In Unit 2, ESL students will practice complete sentences related to what they did that day and what they can see. They will discuss quantity and basic qualities of objects and animals. This is a good place to start with a student who knows the English alphabet but does not know how to read. These beginner phonics ESL lessons walk through reading basic 3 letter words with knowledge of phonics sounds.
